Who is this workshop for?- Anyone who wants to improve the health and condition of low back- Anyone who wants to prevent low back injuries- Anyone who is interested in learning about their body and improving body mechanicsWhat should I expect from this workshop?- You will learn basic human anatomy, biomechanics and kinesiology as they relate to low back injuries.- You will learn and practice movement lessons/exercises based on the Feldenkrais Method that are designed to teach you how to use hip muscles more efficiently and effectively and how to stabilize the lumbar spine in order to reduce stress/effort to your low back and prevent low back injuries; thus outsmart low back pain.- I will do demos to clarify the movement lessons/exercises afterwords to solidify your understanding.- Q&AWhat should I bring to this workshop?- a yoga mat, if you have one. if you don't, I can provide you one.- a towel for head support as needed.* Although I do not have written handouts of the exercises you will do, I plan on making short videos of those exercises and upload them on youtube afterwords, and I will email you a link later. I will also invite you to use your phone to video record my demos during the workshop. This way, you will be able to review the exercises later on.
